Rescript Corporate Partners

28th January 2022

While our community grows every day, the power of the individual gets amplified as more and more people make the shift to recycled paper. However, to really push the needle and make a change on an unprecedented level, we need more industries and corporations saying enough is enough, and deciding that the paper they use doesn’t necessarily have to come from deforestation, or go through an elaborate bleaching process that releases tons of chlorine compounds into water bodies.

At Rescript, we’re really grateful to have been able to work with several amazing corporate partners who share our vision for a greener future. As more businesses make the switch, we are sure that we will see a large scale shift in the way the world at large perceives recycled paper.

Aster Hospitals

Asters Hopsitals’ commitment to recycled paper sees them saving 25 trees from being cut every month! They are also saving 27% on CO2 emissions and 77% on energy requirements that would have been spent if they were still using conventional paper. Since making white paper requires a water-intensive bleaching process, they are also saving 50% of the amount of water it would take to manufacture the equivalent of virgin copier paper.

Featherlite

Featherlite’s commitment to making the switch has allowed them to contribute to saving 25 trees from being cut down over a four-month period. This also translates into 6% less CO2 emissions released, 19% less energy and 12.5% less water being consumed on a monthly basis, with respect to them using recycled paper over the conventional alternative.

Swiggy

As part of Swiggy’syear-end celebrations, they were set to make their employees feel special by gifting them a journal and stationery to match. Kudos to them for choosing our recycled paper journals and recycled pens and pencils to gift 6000 journals and 9000 pens and pencils to their employees. In doing so, they have saved on a huge environmental cost, while also introducing a large number of people to the wonders of sustainable gifting and stationery.

Advaith Hyundai

It was heartening to see businesses from all walks of life eager to make the switch to recycled paper. Advaith Hyundai recently made a switch that contributes to 25 trees being saved over a four-month period. In addition to saving trees, they are also offsetting their carbon emissions by 27%, using 77% fewer units of energy and also saving 50% on the water that would have been used to manufacture conventional paper.

We would also like to extend a huge shoutout to Azim Premji Foundation, Argus Partners and Show Off for taking their first steps into going sustainable. We’re delighted to see more and more businesses small and large take to recycled paper for their stationery needs, bringing us closer to our goal of saving 30000 trees and 60000000 litres of water by 2025. #RescriptTheFuture
